I am a dedicated Electrical Engineer with a rich academic background from the University of Costa Rica, currently advancing my expertise with a Master's in Computer Science & Applications at Virginia Tech. My passion lies at the intersection of education, technology, and human-computer interaction (HCI). With hands-on experience as a robotics and makerspace instructor for children, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and its potential to shape the future.

My diverse research endeavors span from Human-Computer Interaction to Biomedical Engineering, Pattern Recognition, and Artificial Intelligence. This multidisciplinary approach equips me with a unique perspective, allowing me to leverage technology in innovative ways to address educational challenges.

Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I am deeply committed to community service. My volunteer work with various NGOs underscores the profound impact of education and mental well-being during formative years. Inspired by these experiences, I am driven to design tools and solutions that enhance mental health and foster a culture of holistic education in the region.

In essence, I envision a future where education, augmented by technology and HCI principles, paves the way for a brighter, more informed, and mentally resilient generation.
